Default 2000 honda accord timer

I took my car in because it was leaking. Said the coolant was leaking from water pump behind the engine block. REcommend also replacing the timing belt at the same time while they fix the leak. WOuld this be justified?

ummm sure. most of the labor is done since they're both located in the same area.... makes sense to do both of them at once.

when was the last time you change the belt? (if ever)

the water pump is run off the timing belt so it's a good idea to replace both if replacing one. also replace the tensioner.
