thats what u get for putting that wing on ur car

but seriously... just unplug the power antenna harness in the trunk, and jam the mast down, problem solved: no mast sticking out, no up and down

I dunno what to tell you. Is the hole on a flat plane or is it curvy? They sell all sorts of rubber plugs if its on a flat plane.

Nope, not blond.

It's a flat plane.

Where could I get a rubber plug?!? I figured if Home Depot didn't carry anything, who in the world would?

Stupid wing.

The problem is the way the mast was pinched when it bent -- I can't get it fully telescoped. I suppose I could take pliers to it and try to get a round enough shape to shove it down. I guess it's worth a try! Though if I can remove it and make it look cleaner, that's what I'd ideally like.

it's pretty easy to fix holes like that. you can fix it up with some fiberglass and bondo.

if you are willing to get your hands dirty i'll post up some quick steps.

I thought of that -- definitely the cleanest final result. But I don't want to do something quite that permanent in case I decide to put in an antenna someday -- especially if I would need to sell the car.

you can bondo the hole and install an internal antenna in your trunk.

Hey Bumnah, lets see some instructions!

BTW - anyone ever done the s2000 antenna conversion on a 5th gen Accord?

If you want, u can spend $20 bux and get a replacement antenna mast off of ebay. I just got one last week (we have the exact same car) and it works perfect, and it'll extend and retract like new.

My $.02
