I got alignment done yesterday... today all of a sudden there is squeeky noise coming from the left front... i jacked the car up and wd-40 the whole spring but still the noise comes...

basically when i am driving or when the front is going up and down it happens...

is it the strut or the spring? any ideas???

is your car lowered at all any aftermarket parts on the front end? this advice is for a stock front end..with the winter time the springs and shocks will make a creaking noise when u go over bumps esp speed bumps. u will hear them say if u go over a speed bump at walmart. they r big enough to confirm this..

a squeak can be a bushing or your brakes. when my 92 did this it was a sway bar bushing. u can see them if u climb under the car. they r on a endlink and quite large. i had one bust off completely and the other one was intact so it was hard to figure out the squeek since it wasnt consistent.

there r other bushings in the front end but ive not had anything else replaced. u may want to search front end bushings. i wonder if the alignment place checked the front end parts before they aligned it. they would have noticed the bushings. they may have just sprayed them. u can spray silicone on them. prestone silicon spray, sold in the walmart auto care sect, is what i use. wd 40 will dry the part out.

i have no aftermartket parts.. my car is bone stock..

so last night i took the tire out and see if i could find the bushing.. no luck.. i sprayed wd-40 on the uper part of the shock and i lifted the hood and sprayed by the strut area...

can someone provide me with a picture as to where the bushing is?

after i lubed everything it is still making noises.. If the car is parked and i shake the car from the front left meaning make it go up and down you can hear the squeeeky noise...

any other idea???

There are two bushings on your stock control arm. May need to disassemble and grease them up (with lithium grease), if not, take it back and tell them they screwed up.
