Default Difficulty of Replacing Rear Shocks on 1992?

How difficult is it to replace the rear shocks on my 1992? Could I possibly do it by backing the car up on my ramps? Please advise.

The car will need to be on jack stands. You remove the wheel. Remove your trunk to get to the top of the shock where there are 2-3 nuts holding the assembly in. Then you take the bolt out of the bottom of the shock assembly and it should fall out. After that comes the dangerous task of removing the spring. Wear safety glasses and aim it at your friend

you'll need a spring compressor. If you have no idea what you're doing, I wouldn't even bother.

Taking a spring to the face could hurt.

I did that for my car rent good stuff for spring removel that the hardest part. I would take you about 3-4 hour if you dont know what you doing. and the other part would be removing your back sits so remove them frist befor you do any thing.
