94 accord ex m/t wont go in 1st 3rd or 5th???help???please???help
ok need info a.s.a.p. gotta go to work....about 5 days ago my car became very hard to put in 1st then....got worse then....
NO 1st NO 3rd NO 5th and if I try and go from reverse to neutral it gets stuck in reverse so.....now it barely has 2nd and 4th ......I checked on the tranny and it shifts fine thru all five gears so???? is it the linkage from the shifter to the trans and ifso I cant seem to locate it on ebay or whatever???? any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated thanks and sorry so long.....

no, even with the car off it wont go into 1, 3, or 5th but if I pop the hood and manually move the select lever on the trans. I can shift 1st thru 5th with no problem..when I try to get it in 1,3,5th it's real mushy like, even when it gets stuck in gear I can still move the shifter from 2nd to 1st with no effect just mush!! I don't think it's the clutch cause when I'm driving in 2nd I can skip 3rd and go into 4th with no problem... could it be just low trans. fluid ???

to check trans fluid the is two bolts the drane is a square the fill is a 17mm you should have a littler fluid coming out of the hole it sounds like stuck shift cables?or cables out of ajustment or dose that modle have shift rods?i cant remeber

took out the center console everything seems to be in order ...btw how do I adjust the cable??? and if I shift at the trans. I can make the shifter itself go thru all 5 gears ...could the cables just be stretched?? anyone ever herd of this ??? also on an unrelated topic my check engine light does not come on when I first start my car and I cant get any trouble codes???
