my neighbor had a little over 250,000miles when she had a coolant leak and it got hot and the engines seised up. she just got a new engine. my girl's brother in law has a '97 accord with 225,000miles. my '97's just got 153k.

i have 165,000 on my 92 honda si
and my husband has 145,000 on the 98 honda civic
kinda sad...poor 98

1996 Honda Accord EX:



Drove it another 20,000 miles before selling it to a friend of the family in November of last year. Car now has just over 200k miles. Just regular maintenance and upkeep has been all this car has required. Engine has never broken down or failed to start.

24,000 miles on the 06.

225,600 as of today.

She's going through a midlife crisis right now though :happysad: Too much rust underneath. Just replaced a rear caliper because I broke the bleeder screw off and couldn't drill it out.

I'm doing the t-belt/water pump and the front brakes then saying :wavey: and picking up an 03-04 6-speed this fall

Do you have the original tranny with it? Now that would be an accomplishment, especially with the V6. :goodjob:

Replaced at 150k with a used tranny. Current tranny is at 105k tranny miles.

168,453 miles as of today. No major repairs. Just changed the engine belts for the 3rd time. Original engine and tranny. Honda Civic 96 EX.
