Use to be a rural mailcarrier(100 mile daily route)and "any" engine should do 200K with no problem. Over the years here is the mileage of some of my route cars: 1985 Toyota truck-Sold it with 108,000 miles. The guy I sold it to said the body rusted away at 285,000 miles. 1982 Subaru-Sold it with 120,000 miles to my dad. He sold it with 160,000 miles on it. 1992,1993,1995 Dodge Spirits-Sold all 3 of them with over 200,000 miles on them. Only repair was a blown head gasket on the 95 at 170,000 miles. My secret? Oil and filter change at 5,000 miles. Coolant change every 3 years and always added the extra automatic transmission cooler. Changed the transmission fluid every 15,000 miles.

I have a 1990 Accord EX with 367K miles. Speedometer went out a few years ago and odometer stopped running until i had it replaced about 6 months later...so, probably has another 10k more actual miles on it than the odometer shows. Original engine/tranny.
Also have a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX with 245K miles on it with original engine/tranny as well.

94 del sol si 5sp - 96k miles. In the 9 years my father in law owned it he put all of 9000 miles on it. I bought it back from him 3 1/2 years ago, replaced timing belt, clutch and tires and have been using it as my daily driver ever since. Been thinking about replacing it with a late model accord because with two kids it is sometimes an inconvienience having a 2 seater (other family car is a Pilot), but part of me want's to see if I can get to 200k without major repairs. Any guesses what will go first?

I went 268k on my Civic before swapping the engine.
I had a 91 Camry which I sold last year, it had 746,000 miles on it. Engine was replaced once before I owned it, I changed the waterpump/timing belt four times during my ownership, rack & pinion changed twice, alternator changed twice, and transmission rebuilt once.
