Default Fuses Help.... No Brake Lights, Dash Light, Head Lights acting nuts... PLS READ&HELP!

I have a 94 Honda Accord LX

Ok here it is...
I have no Brake Lights, not when i press on the brake, or when i simply turn the lights on... Hell you know that lil rear bumper light, that doesn't even work....

The lights that light up my dash (like the speedometer and stuff) don't work also... on occasion i think i see them trying to work, they seem to be connected to my turning signals, because they will try to blink with my turning signal...

Speaking of that, my turning signals make the light inside my glove box, my radio, and my clock blink when they blink... really it only does this when i use my hazards or my right turning signal..

ALSO... My head lights don't work... I have a shitty pair of Aftermarket "JDM style" Headlamps, and they use h4 and h1 bulbs, i replaced them and i don't think they are blown, but they aren't coming on... current only ONE of my High Beams work....

Also, my Car won't move out of park, like it is stuck in that position, i have to yank it down into drive.......

Now.... I am guessing i will hear that my fuses are bad or something, but can you tell me what the hell that means... I'm not knowledgable about the electric side of things at all... Where are all the fuse boxes and how do i replace them? do i just goto autozone and buy a boxes of fuse replacements??? If you know the anwser please help, and tell me how ot go about fixing this.... Thanks guys...

check all fuses on the passenger side, drivers side, and under the hood. take the fuse puller from the fuse book under the hood and remove all fuses one at a time, look at them very closely and put them back in. if they are blown change them out with the same size/amp fuse.

dude honestly that doesnt sound like a bunch of fuses... that sounds like half your electrical went to shit. go over all your wires... i know this sounds like a pain in the ass but you may have to do some hefty rewiring if a harness burned up or something of the sort. if you dont know what your doing have a professional look at it.

When I first got my '96, it had no dome light, interior lights, intermittent wipers, or hazard lights. It was more than just blown fuses. The dealership replaced three fuses which blew right away! It was actually caused by a couple of shorts, which had to be fixed by a technician. The good news for me was that I had purchased an extended warraty which covered this very thing... the bad news for you is you probably don't have the same warranty.

I made a quick edit... Becasue i had to correct myself... My interior lights work, just not the lights in my dash, those seem to be trying to work...

Is this something i will just have to take to honda... because i honestly don't knwo what i would be doing, and even if i look at the wires, i won't really know what i need to do to fix it... unless someone can just direct me on how to replace whatever the problem is...

For my own information....
Where are all the Fuse boxes extactly and how do i get to them... I know one is under the hood in the upper passenger side corner, where are the others
AND... when i do pull a fuse out, what am i looking for?? will a blown fuse just look burnt out and blacked like or something similiar to a burnt light bulb?

Thanks for all the help so far!!

If I'm not mistaken, there is also a fuse box behind the glove compartment. Maybe you should go to Autozone and grab a Haynes manual. :dunno:

I had this same problem when I installed my new stereo - i did it myself with a few friends and apparently we cross-wired something that blew almost my whole fuse box to hell. Check those, but also get someone to check your wiring (you should be lucky enough to have a friend who's good with electronics and owes you a favor instead of taking it to some dick mechanic).

fuse box on drivers side under the dash by the door. brake pedal side. above the dead pedal. blown fuse will have a broken wire in it. it will be connected if its good. looks like half a loop on some fuses. u may have a ground wire problem or relay.

if unsure just replace the fuse but theres more then likely a cause of the blown fuse if you messed with the car like changed the radio, alarm ,or anything that is electrical that isin't stock. but for starters try repalceing the tail ,and brakelight fuse . if still no go then it's off to the shop it doesn't have to be honda just someone that knows what their doing.

I had the same problem in my 93 accord and replaced all the fuses but it still didnt help, what I did was go to autozone and replace one of my lights...apparently they are all on some sort a circuit, when i replaced the one bad taillight I had, it fixed everything. It cost like $3.
