I love my 96 Accord

Then I got fiberglass mat + bondo resin jelly, and filled it in. Now I am just sanding the shit out of it.
after that, paint.

I bought my 96 Accord w/ 40k miles and drove another 140k miles having to do nothing more than general upkeep/maintenance. The car was still running like new and still had most of it's original parts when I sold it w/ 180k miles to the current owner (friend of mine) The car is still trucking with over 200k miles and the only thing he has replaced so far is the original starter at 195k miles. On the other hand, the 06 is a far superior automobile.

the 06 is really nice...personally i like the 2-door 01 special sport edition the most...
but I heard that the 96 accord keeps its value better than almost every other car on the market...i can probably sell it for the same amount I bought it for...and for $2500 it was a great value compared to some shitty ford taurus...

I love my '05 EX with leather too except for the stupid buzzing noise i hear in the rear of the roof at highway speeds with the radio off(a/c on so its not the wind) and the windows occasionally rattling when going over bumps at highway speeds. I usually have the radio jamming so i never really hear these noises so eh.......its an amazing car. But other than that its given me a 20k trouble free ride. I really love this car and baby it too.

Hondas in general hold their value exceptionally well. In the case of Honda Accords, the 4th gens (especially the 92-93) seem to hold their value the best because that body style tends to be the most desirable. I have to admit, I do like the classy, clean and elegant lines of the 4th gen. All too often I have seen a 93 and a 94 parked next to eachother and people are usually always drawn to the 93 first. They claim that it looks more upscale, like an Acura. Mechanically, however, they were essentially the same car.

I have to say the Accord won me over. I have a 94 Coupe, clean but nothing special. Never did anything to it really and yet it keeps going like a top. Great mileage, never a problem. It has 140K miles and feels like it won't stop for another 100K!
When I got it, I thought nothing special but I really like it now and won't sell it even though I can get a new replacement, I feel it's totally unnecessary.
I always liked the lines of the 94 bodystyle the best. Even now I think it's the best. Interior of the 92-style feels of better quality materials though.
