On my 88' Accord my battery died, so I go to pull the latch and the hood wont open! I hear a clicking right, under the latch where the hood is. Does anyone know a way to get the hood open? I decided to pull off the front bumper to get under the latch. Does anyone know how to get the bumper off? Or a diagram for where all the bolts are, for the hood. Thanks

 

You gotta hit the lever to raise the hood

 

The hood wont pop open, Getting my fingers under the hood and pulling the latch, doesnt help at all either.

 

I had this exact problem on my 89 lx-i and had to remove the front bumper. You can release the hood latch that way after the bumper is off. I don't remember the exact process, but it's about 6 or 8 bolts, 2 hide behind the turn signal lenses.
