what is the best transmission for a stock 96 ex 4cyl accord?
I need a automatic transmission but I want to know which one is best and more reliable? thanks

Probably one made by honda... can usually be found in the EX accords.
The EX tranny should be the strongest, being its the most powerful accord.

oh I was thinking about the prelude tranny but I guess the current tranny the car has would be best.

Knowing honda, the prelude tranny has different connections or a different puter... who knows. You're right, it would be stronger though...
