Im pretty close to turbo on my accord, but i need to know some answers before i buy a few more parts.
First off, im buying a used f23 engine and i need to know if anyone knows where to pick one up with low miles cheap? Ive seen them go for 399 on ebay, but the shipping is almost 500 bucks! Ive also talked to a dude at a junk yard, but he says a newer one will go for 600 (which isnt that bad but i thought i could get it cheaper) I also need to know if anyone has heard of any problems with the cyclinders going out or broken rods anything like that. I know of broken pistons and rings, so im going to go with forged pistons and rings, but do i also need rods too? Because rods cost around 600, and im trying to save a few bucks if i can. Also, does anyone know how hard i can push the f23 with stock sleeves, im trying to get around 350-400whp out of it, but im not sure if the stock sleeves can take that. And im looking for parts, mostly gaskets for my Chrysler t3c turbo, im sure i can find those at a chrysler junk yard, but i havent looked yet. And last does anyone know what camshaft grind i should go with? Im looking for low to mid band power that can get me off the line faster.
