Default 99 Honda Accord

I have a 99 Honda Accord Coupe (4 cylinder/4 lug). I was trying to see if you can switch to a 5 lug pattern.

What would be the purpose? Better choice of custom wheels? Upgrade from rear drums to rear disc brakes? Nothing better to do with your money?

I would do it for the sake of having a better choice of factory wheels but the best way is to search your local junk yard or place an place an ad in the parts classified section. If you buy the parts brand new then lets say it gets quite expensive search around good luck.

Would you guys think that it is worth it? You are right, I have a better choice of custom wheels with the 5 lug pattern! My car is also manual.

well if you think that a better selection of wheels warrants spending $1000 then go for it h:

I swapped a 4 lug Dodge Neon over to a 5 lug, and the aftermarket wheel selection was actually MUCH better for the 4 lug style. I ended up switching it back.

stick with the 4 lug pattern. there is a pretty decent selection of wheels avaliable for 4 lug accords. save your money for the rims.
