Funny that the AV6 trannies were failing long before the CL-S and TL-S's yet it took Acura models for people to really sit up and notice...also interesting that the recall includes both 4 and 5 speeds AT...

The 5 speed auto in the CL/TL is heavily based off of the 4 speed unit in the Accord and Prelude. They just added a gear onto it. Better than Toyota, who put two overdrives on the ES300 to make it a 5 speed automatic
