Ceramic will crack.

I had one on my 98 Accord. Get stainless steel.

Or here's an idea: Don't modify a family car. I learned the hard way.

If the steel is cracking then I suppose they're junk, unless people are bottoming them out or doing something to them. Kenton, how long did you have your header before it cracked, and when did you buy it? Did you drive on the hwy. mostly, or around town, or both? I'm curious because I keep seeing second-hand info. about DC headers. It's always, "I heard they crack", but I haven't run across any first-hand info. from anyone who actually owned a DC. Hey, maybe we should have "Product Review" section on HAN.

No matter what car you modify, you can always expect more trouble than with stock. It goes with the territory; whether it's an Accord or an RSX, or anything else.

It was the 4-2-1 header. Imagine where 2 pipes from the "4", where they met there was a crack. Not too big, but not too small either. Ended up selling all of my mods on eBay and getting a Type-S.

Stainless is the way to go but honestly I didn't "feel" any gains.
