Drum Brakes to Disc? Worth it?
I searched the threads, maybe used the wrong words... Anyway, I have drums in the rear of my 91 accord wagon and would like to make them disc. I know i have to get a new master cylinder and probably new lines...what else should I think about before I do this? I'm also going to swap out the auto tranny for a manual, but I found the info for that already . And please don't tell me to sell it! New here and really getting a lot of good info from the forums.

First, the drums are well, drums! And if i'm going to spend a grand or so on wheels, i want the brakes to look right also. So yes, a little looks, but really more about safety. So you all think it can be done without major cost or headache? I will check that link above. I also plan to do ALL the work myself, (with a friend) so thats a consideration. Thanks for the input

you have to swap out the whole rear trailing arm ,with the E-brake cables and the proprotion valve or the pedal will feel like crap. I did this swap on my 5th gen and was not so lucky because all rear disc on them had ABS so I ended up instaling ABS !
