Default SES Light on but no codes???

My 02 accord SES light came on. I put my actron odb-II code reader on and linked to the computer. However the reader said no codes were stored. Also, I ran the check SES light function on the reader and it said the light should be off but it was on. How does this happen???

if the CEL(check engine light} is on... there should be a code.

check the FAQ thread... it's still in progress, but it shows you how to jump the odb2 port with a piece of wire and pull the codes.

you cannot use the generic scanner to check ABS or SRS codes only HDS or vertronics mastertech with OEM card will read the code, or by grounding the SCS in your obd2 connector and counting the blinks of the SRS light.
