Fst Idle Thermo Valve

sounds like the other mechanic was guessing... if the VSS is bad your speedo will operate intermitently, or not at all.
As for the intake gasket... I think you may be confusing it with the head gasket, if that goes bad THEN you'll find water in the oil, white smoke, etc. The intake gasket would be between the intake manifold and the engine block.
Sucks you wasted $100... but at least Honda straightened things out for ya.

Help?
I have a 92 Honda Accord LX SOHC with intermittent rough idling. Can someone show me with images or provide detail instructions on where to find and locate the IAVC and the FITV? I have noticed also that the car seems to run at a higher rpm rate while driving it. Does anyone have advice?
Thanks!
Thanks!

FITV/IAVC Info
All,
After searching around for a few hours, I feel that it would be nice to have this information documented for others to utilize. I will provide links to a few sites that were extremely helpful in locating and identifying parts.
