Coilovers unless you wanna do a custom setup. TEIN basic are nice, they perform well and will give you a nice comfy ride.

well, coilovers you can adjust the ride height and lowering springs are at a set height. It really depends what you really want . Is your car a track car or a daily driver???? If it is a everyday driver springs will do just fine also how low do you want to drop your car??? h: Remember the lower you go the harder the ride. pros with lowering springs : there cheaper. cons: if you do not like the height (when it settles in) you are stuck with it so you have to spend more money to go lower . coilovers pros : adjustible ride height at any time you want .or you can go back to oem height without changing anything. cons: alot more $$$$$$ if you want a good brand (none of that ebay sh!t). also with coilovers there are two versions first are the sleevs that go over over the oem shocks or performance shocks. or the full coilover set up which is even more than coilover sleeves but it depends on how deep your pockets are . as for shocks kyb agx are great that is all I can say about shocks because that is the only brand that I ever had.
here is a picture of my accord with h&r springs w/ kyb agx shocks with a 2.25 drop. If you still want to have an oil pan I would not drop lower the 2.25(trust me I know ). I live in miami so the roads are all smooth or being repaved so the ride is ok but it will never compare to oem. but that is just my .02
