haha, and ya, I was thinking, I think the shops had quoted around $1,000 or so for the dent, but no one is willing to touch the gauges, and I don't have the patients to take apart everything to get to the gauge. Anyone know what a shop would normally charge do replace the gauge cluster?

you can go buy a cluster from a wrecking yard for like 50 dollars and put it in your self

 

If he likes the Test-drive, tell him there are other interested buyers too and get some down payment from him so that he wont change his mind.

Well, from what I've been told by these shops, the reason they wont touch it is you gotta take out everything from the armrest forward, and I dont got that kinda patience...

I paid $3,000 for a 95 EX with 133k miles. Vtec engine and pretty clean outside and in, new tires.

those gauges are not that hard to replace you just have to remember to take the 2 screws out that are under the controls (have to pull radio out) have done this many times only 30 min job and 45min after a beer!

 

But don't you have to take all that stuff out? That's what I keep bein told... or is there a much easier way where you can just take the gauge right out?
