Default 2002 accord EX v6 price

What would be a good price for this model?
Invoice price? below? how much? (My dealer is giving me $500 over dealer invoice)
Also, suggestion on quality of 02 ex v6 owner would be nice! Will the price drop more later in the year? Should I buy 03 model instead? thank!!!

www.carsdirect.com is a good source to get a decent target price. I wouldn't pay more than what carsdirect offers.

I think if you're going the econimcal route and keep your car for a long time, look at the 02s. The 03 are vastly different, but you'll pay the price for it (most likely at least sticker) for few months until the hype dies down. But you can justify it by saying that the 2003 won't depreciate as much as the 2002s. It's your decision though.

Last month, I was quote 4000 off MSRP for a 2002 EX V6 sedan in Boston, MA. Most of the dealers around here are offering that.

thanks guys!
I went to test drive both 02 and 03 today. I am leaning toward 2002. Is there reason why I shouldn't buy 2002 model?

I just bought an 02 V6 EX for $4k off MSRP last week. My decision for 02 vs 03 was mileage and price. I put on about 25k miles per year so the 02 makes more sense here. ALos in temrs of price, you're not going to see $4k off MSRP for a few years (when the next new ones come out). Certainly resale of an 03 is something to consider but it just didn't make sense in my case.

Good luck, can't go wrong with either.

Bought in Chicagoland area, not many 02's left.....

You can buy a 02 EX V6 for less than 500 over invoice.
First of all their is 1250 cash back to the dealer.
I don't see where you are from but I am in Baltimore and I can sell you the 02 which lists for $25,760 for $21,299. If interested email me. Their are only a few left and the 03 are rolling off the truck everyday.
You will pay sticker price for a 03 everywhere for at least 6 months, and if you are on a coupe probably a year or more.
Great savings to be had on 02's; these savings only come around at model change for Hondas.
