Help:Complexity of Changing Rotors in '94 Accord
I heard 1/2 the front-end has to come out in order to change the rotors
on a '94 Accord. Sounds like a ridiculous enginerring feat by Honda. What year did they change this? (e.g. did it run the entire cycle through this body-style until 1997)?
also, approx. how much addit. labor hours will we be hit with to change the rotors/pads as a result??? My daughter's car is vibrating when braking & we know it needs new rotors up front.... thanks

What do you mean by 1/2 front end of the car. I never heard of anything like this. It probably your mechanic trying to rip you off so go to another one.
Changing the rotors and pads is never more than 2 hours of labor as far as I know regardless of vehicle's age, make and model.
Edit: Usually it is under 1 hour

But there are some DIY threads here on the board, search and you'll find some.
