Yes same here. If an RO comes through the window for 4th gen
with the same descriptions as the OP has, I will always have a
speed sensor near by. We do sometimes sell one for the 5th gen,
but its rare.

hey can you guys get me a price and/or part number for the "pump" that attaches below the VSS on a 4th gen? It seems that the keyed shaft on mine is broken (where the small drive pin between the VSS unit and the "pump" below attach). I discovered this upon installing a new VSS unit. Now it seems I gotta replace the entire mechanism.

That is your power steering sensor, unfortunately I'm not at work
right now to look up price/#, will have to do it in the morning. I
can tell you that their sold as two separate units, not as a assembly.

this might be a little ot but, I have a 5th gen accord and I did the 5spd conversion but I got a 4th gen tranny the vss are differnt on it compared to my accord harness, what would be the best thing to do, I realized this after I got everything back together. Is there a way I could wire it or use the auto vss......any and all help is appreciated.

ok to get back to ya'll i replaced my vss on my 1990 honda accord ex and reset my comp codes...so far so good, speedometer works all the time now and no check engine...got it off ebay brand new with lifetime warranty for $38 including shipping as opposed to 150 from advance for gpsorensen!!! got away easy this time but thanks guys for the help!
