Help with Brake job- 95 Accord
#31
Also... OEM pads on the 95 are ORGANICS. They don't really recommend metallic or ceramic for that car. On top of the potential for noise, they'll chew up your rotors, etc. But there and again, depending on the after-market rotors you wind up with up there, you might get away with something other than the organics.

also had to replace the drivers outer tie rod, the bolt broke when i was tightening the nut, it was halfway down the threads and snapped.
soooooo
upper ball joints 90
rotors,brakes,bushings 115
labor to press brakes 85
left bearing 60
lower left ball joint 30
drivers outer tie rod 35
everything feels good, did the road test and all is well
what a pain in the ass
it does take a good 6-8 hours total to finish

Well, I hear you on the $$ for all the parts hassle. But look at it this way, you got a good brake job, got some parts replaced that may have save a future breakdown, and you got some experience.
Now come help me with mine!!!
