2003 Accord Sedan Auto Questions: Did search..
Hey guys, what's going on? Both of my parents have gone on vacation, allowing me to garage the Integra and give it some rest. In the mean time I'm driving my dad's 2003 Accord V6 Auto LX (no navi, no moonroof, no leather). After driving it for a few days, I've realized a few things.
1. It is worlds faster than my LS Integra (its rather stock, minus I/H/E and some other stuff)
2. Road noise and ride quality are better of course (no surprise there)
3. The whole "new" feel and smoothness of everything really makes me want to sell the teg.
Anyway, just a few questions -
1. What is the factory torque and hp ratings?
2. Does anyone have any dyno graphs?
3. What are the 0-60 and qtr mile times of an auto V6 LX?
Thanks

It was rated at around 240HP and 200 Ft-lbs. But just this year the government adjusted how they measure the HP ratings, so now it's rated at 220HP. 0-60 is around 7 seconds. I think 1/4 miles is mid 14's. Acceleration is greatly aided by the 5 speed automatic which has a much shorter and closer ratio gears than the previous 4 speed.
The important thing is that it holds it's own with a Nissan Maxima/Altima, and is a little faster than the Camry yet gets best in class V6 mileage. Pontiac needs a supercharges 3.8L engine just to keep up.

thanks, you think my dad's auto is capable of mid 14's? my butt dyno isnt as accurate as I havent ridden in any other mid 14 sec cars at speed lately.

You can probably find dynographs on www.aem.com, 1/4 mile times will be in the high 14s to low 15s.
