I believe the 3.2 V6 is also smaller than the 2.7 was. The 97-99 Acura CL (a gussied up Accord coupe) was able to fit a 3.0 just fine, and I don't believe the CL had the extended front end.

no it didnt they did make the j block smaller and in turn could fit in theory.but as wicked as it would be i think its a lot of scratch. i wish i had it to try with.

I think the CL did have a different engine bay then the 5th gen Accord. The exhasut B-pipe was longer, hinting the bay may be a tad wider in length for the 6.

If you own a 5th gen wagon an H22 would be a much easier fit, why re-invent the wheel, plus you can get a manual if you choose. For much less $$$

If you really want to spend the cash and go full out unique I would attempt to do a k-series from an RSX or TSX, but you would need to rewire the entire car and likely work with a shop with the skills like Hasport to custom make a set of mounts. not a small task.

I would either do a an F23A1 sohc Vtec form a 2.3 CL of your vintage built for nitrous or swap an H22, both would give you the added oomph and best bet for a daily driver.
