Default DeBadge an 02

I tried to post this once, but I think the server is messed up because all it posted was a blank message. Anyways here goes again...

1. I have heard that fishing line is the best way to get the badging off, is this true? Will the badges be reusable if I do it this way?

2. Also I am worried about fading. It is a white car and has always been garaged and waxed and buffed regularly it has 60K and I live in Minnesota where the sun isn't to bad, do you think it will be noticeable where the badging was, will cleaner wax or anything help?

3. I have also heard the "H" logo is held on through the trunk, is this true, is there an easy way to debadge it and fill the holes? My plan is to only take off the "Accord" and "V6" badges for now.

One last thing, I am NOT doing this so people will wonder what kind of car I have (I see so many Accords how could you not know what it is), I just think it looks a lot cleaner(especially on the 2Dr). Sorry this is so long, I just don't want to mess up my car or make it look worse
Thank You very much for any help!

1. Fishing line, or better yet -- floss. It's softer. The badges will be reusable if you get that 3M tape stuff and razorblade it to fit perfectly.

2. Possible, but doubtful.

3. Yes, H is held on with two holes. To debadge it and make it look good you have to get the holes filled and the trunk repainted. That's all you can do. Leave the H.

There is a great debadging guide on www.05dc5.com it's for RSX but the same principal applies for your emblems

Thanks for the help, is your answer for #2 as to whether it will be noticeable or whether or not cleaner wax will work? Thanks again!

It most likely won't be noticable.

It worked awesome, thanks for all the help! You can't even tell the badging was ever on there. I had to use a lot of Lighter Fluid, Bug & Tar Remover and Meguiars Cleaner wax, but with a little hard work it came out exactly like I wanted it. Thanks Again!
