That was an incorrect assesment of my reply, J, and was VERY suprising coming from you.....I was NOT trying to argue with the gentleman. There is something very wrong with the way you interpret others' actions, and I am not really joking here.

"It may not be the bumper either, they could have rehung the mufflers and they now hang different on the hangers."

Thank you, Chad; this could very well be and I hadnt considered it before.

"My wife's TSX has a funny muffler that sits off center a bit, the car was never wrecked it left the Honda factory like that."

Wow.

"I bet none of your parts are copy cat, odds are since Accords are a dime a dozen you have either real new OE parts or geniune used salvage parts in anycase they should be just fine."

Thanks.

"I could go and show you 2 identical Accords side by side and no 2 cars will be the same, stuff will be off on both cars, tolerances are just that. As for the OE body kit, people put them on--not machines, no 2 OE honda kits will be mounted exactly the same."

Okay.

"I'm just not sure anything we say is ever going to make you feel confident again in this car. I think the 2 accidents have left you not liking the Accord.

Does it still drive the same? Road feel would be my big concern before small body panel gaps. All Hondas have some type of tolerance issues, even brand new ones."

It seems to drive as tight as the day I bought it-----the shop did a great job with the MECHANICS of the work as the car doesnt pull to one side or anything; she feels tight and new, actually, especially after this new tranny. I was concerned with the OEM kit not LOOKING and FITTING the same it did after the accident, and wondering IF they got OEM parts for the replacements, because if you read another of my posts, it will describe where I noticed "cracking" where the skirts attach to the body (in places that were replaced by the shop).....THEY claim it was because of "materials they had to use that needed to stretch around the body panels" or some such shit.....I just let it go.....

"My Accord was backed into by a hit and run, they repaired the bumper, it's not the same as before, but it's not horrid, it's not done wrong. It's a car and I still love the car, it was my first and only new car to date. I look at things like this as character building for me and the car, as long as the car is still mechanical to spec. It's ok with me. You can always have body work redone if need be."

I guess I'll go with this to make me feel better.....thanks Chad.....

Simply incorrect sir. When something is paid for by you completely out of pocket, which was 27 grand at the time, you want to know that investment (which means a lot to you) is being treated right post-accident status.

WTF? Don't go out and attack John when he has been trying to help you, something I and most others gave up on because of your previous ridiculous threads.

First of all, why dont you keep your big stupid mouth out of this discussion because I dont give a SHIT about YOUR opinions regarding my "ridiculous" threads anymore, either.....if you knew how to READ, you moron, you would know that I wasnt ATTACKING JOHN, merely saying he is MISINTERPRETTING WHAT I AM SAYING AND THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE THERE.

Do you HONESTLY think I CARE that you "GAVE UP" on trying to "help" me? You have offered NOTHING but sarcastic, ridiculous, smart-ass remarks to almost EVERY member in here-----and it was even ADMITTED BY ONE MEMBER that you can indeed BE A SMART ASS, so who do you think you're talking to? Dont "help" me anymore; I dont really GIVE A SHIT.
