I'm surprised noone mentioned getting the 5spd 4cyl. I'd highly recommend that, you won't have to worry about the tranny problem at all and its fun to drive.

Wanted the 5spd, but wif owns the budget, so I had to 'compromise' and get the auto
Any opinions on changing the timing belt right away? The service manual sez 100k miles OR 7 years. I'm on 84k now. The seller's add stated 'adult driven' - this 98 EX IS in GREAT shape w/ all the leather and power goodies. Just deciding on whether to get it lowered first for budget priorities!

Schmiddy,

Love your body kit (so to speak). Clean and not over the top. What make is it?
Also interested in the Xenon bodykit for my 98 Accord. Got a short-term 10% off at JC Whitney, so it comes to $700 shipped. Otherwise is there a 'gouge' place tuners go for bodykits?! Thoughts anyone?!
