Blown cluster lights
I noticed this morning that the lights in my dash cluster/speedometer/tach were not lit when I turnned on my headlights. WTF Has this happened to anyone before, and YES I did check the fuse and it was not blown....

are they not lighting up at all? or are they just really dim. you might have checked this already, but have you tried turning the dimmer knob on your gauge cluster? worth a shot (or another one). :P

are any of the other interior lights out too?
check your tail lights - turn on the headlights, but don't have anyone pressing on the brake pedal, and go see if the tail lights are on. if the tail lights are burnt out or malfunctioning, the display lighting goes out too.

I just had the light cluster by my automatic climate control's fan speed blow; needed to have the dealer replace these and they had to order special bulbs for this area of the dash, which took a day to get. Cost me like 60 or 90 bucks, too, I dont remember......
Fuckin' dealers......

Yes, I did turn the dimmer switch and nothing happened. I also noticed that the climate control lights are not "lit" as well. The odd thing is that the fuse is not blown... But I will double check it later to be certain...

Honda dealers charge a lot, yes, but if you have the money it's worth every penny. They can do a far better job at complicated and even routine maintenance than most people can, and are trained very well. My car was serviced at the dealer up until 100k and has barely required any replacement parts after that.
And your second post is just a joke. Get out of here if you're going to post BS like that. Honda dealers charge just as much as any other repair shop, the difference is that dealers use factory trained service techs who know the cars inside out.
