Default OEM Retrofits? How and Where?

I want to do HID conversion on my car, they all say do the OEM Retrofits before the conversion, Can anyone please tell me where to get the retrofit done. Or if there are DIY kits for sale that I can buy to do it my self.
Thanks for all the help.

There is a guy in VA that does a damn good job on retros. He did mine for under 300 in labor/assembly. You have to buy the ballast, another set of headlights, the bulbs, and the projector/shroud. It cost me about 800 for the complete deal and was worth every penny. On average it will cost between 700-1000. iobidder directed me on this guy.(99aznaccord) You can see his tread for the stuff he did here:

I have a 7th gen as well so if you have any questions, please ask. I know I had a ton of questions when I was in your situation. It took me almost 6 months to research and figure out what was the most cost efficient yet durable and clean for my Accord.

Yeah I bought pretty much all my stuff from the forums there. IF you check it out once a day, you can really get what you want at one hell of a deal.

i can personally vouch for him. he's done so many, he's truly a professional. plus i know where he lives.

it's so totally worth the money. hands down the best mod for my car (other than turbo).

got mine done from him, too. met him in person. hes not a fake and he does a DANG good job. took me about 6 months to gather my parts. he wont do it for you b/c he doesnt want you to come back and tell him you couldve done a better job huntin around. if youre in the area, you should stop by the gas station he owns. we worked on ours and he made sure everything was perfect, all the way up to aiming the lights. if youre not from around town, id still have him do it. find him on the bwimports page or PM me if you want other contact info. hes a genius.
