Just installed Eibach's and crappy ride,,,help
I just installed the EIBACH pro kit springs on my 7th gen accord(05) and the ride quality went away. The are stiff as hell. Could this be due to the stock shocks that I'm still running or are they made this way? I bought them from a buddy that were on his car for about 4 months before he traded the car in. I did research and they said its almost like stock ride quality. HELP

Aftermarket springs tend to do that, they are designed for performance(handling) and not for a soft ride, stiff suspention generally handles great, not sure about the shock sitch. though, sum 1 else will tell you

From what I've read, the consensus is that the Pro-kits are about the softest aftermarket springs out there for our cars. The H&R OE is probably softer, but only lowers a half inch or so. Are you sure you got the Pro-kits and not the "Race" springs? Aftermarket shocks won't make the ride more compliant, they'll just keep the car better dampened. My Koni adjustables are still a bit more stiff at full soft than my stock shocks were with the same springs.

The thing is They werent new when i got them . The guy I bought them from had them sitting in his shed for awhile and said that they were on his uncles car for awhile and his uncle didnt like the ride. Could this have anything to do with the ride quality? if they were on a different car for awhile and the break in was already done.

I have H&R Sports on my car and they are slightly stiffer than stock no one notices when they ride in my car. It could be the bump stops did you trim them correctly or did you forget to put them in.
