I had mine aligned the same day that I changed my suspension. The alignment that I got included 6 month warranty. So after the springs broke in, I readjusted my coilovers to bring it down a little more, and went right back in for another alignment.

I've had a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Generally, keeping the stock shocks and adding springs (neuspeed on my 90 teg, H&R on my 02 RSX S) caused a firmer ride and a bounce with I hit dips or bumps at speed. More like a boing, sharp up and down...not a wavy drunken movement, sometimes a metal to metal sound. Never went away on either. I don't think they were installed properly. Get instructions if possible from the mfg.
I am doing some research this time. I have Tein H type springs and KYB GR-2s to install on my 00 Coupe. Both come with instructions.
With 76,000 miles I figure since I am there I might as well replace all the connection components...I went to my Honda dealer and had them pull the exploded parts diagram for front and rear shocks. It shows where everything is, including pillow mounts, bumpstops, rubber, collars, nuts...everything. I am going to Tirerack to get some aftermarket KYB things, and the dealer for the rest.
We shall see....

Ya its like when I hit bumps you can really feel it. Is that normal. The bouncing has went away a little . I'm getting an allignment before the weekend. Its like what SLO CORD GRL said "bumpier and bumpier". I guess thats normal for the lowered springs ,but I dont remeber it being that bad. I get alot of vibration and can really feal the rode. My rear view mirror is blurry when I drive due to the vibration I'm getting. Is this normal? Will better shocks take this away?

Performance shocks won't make the springs softer, but they will keep the car better dampened and you won't bounce after you hit the bump.
I tried to explain it above, but let me say it this way...with my H&R sports and stock shocks then switching to Konis, the ride was actually a bit more firm even on full soft, but the car handled better due to the better dampening. If you want a soft ride, don't go put Koni adjustables and crank them up thinking that will make it softer.
I've never heard of someone complaining about the ride quality of Prokits. Most feel that the H&R sports are a bit stiffer, and my 69yo dad still thinks my car rides just fine, even with 225/40/18s.

I'm going to check the springs again this weekend just to make sure they were installed right. I dont think you can install them wrong anyway. I did the install and it was pretty simple. I have done many before and this kit was no different. It may just be something I have to live with . I'll take the suggestions on the shocks . I'might just throw a set on to dampin the ride ......thanks jschmid for your input as well as all the others.
