Default What are these, where are they supposed to go?

I just got this car and I was looking under the hood and I noticed a few hoses that weren't connected, also there seems to me a sensor that isn't mounted and also has hoses that aren't attached, can somone tell me if this is right which I don't think it is? And could someone tell me where to connect them I have pic.s here but don't know how to post them

it looks like you have a Ex and those go to the air box under the bumper since you have a aftermarket air intake they just hang around

I wouldn't worry about it, i have extra hoses on my lx too(but i took them off), there just extra parts from the stock intake which the other person was stupid enough not to take them off, as far as the sensor looks connected so i also wouldn't worry about that either. If the car runs fine, No worries. My car runs fine and ive had the intake on for a couple of months now.

Pics 1-3 look like the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Solenoid Valve that normally sits inside your stock air intake box. The vacuum hose (pic 4) is associated with the EGR system as well.

By the looks of it, your EGR system is just venting into the outside world instead of dumping back into your intake. The system essentially recirculates a tiny bit of exhaust into your intake to lower combustion temperatures. Disabling this system reduces your fuel economy, increases emissions, and may affect performance since it gives the ECU one less method to regulate combustion temps. I wonder if this is enough to offest the few HP you gain by giving your far a free flowing intake.
