Default 2000 Accord V6?

Are these really vtec? I saw a add for one saying it was vtec just wanted to know. I am going to want to get one of these. I pretty much found one in my city with leather seats all that its a EX. Would it be worth getting one of these or modding me 1990 accord ex?

it's VTEC, but it doesn't mean it does very much. SOHC 4 cylinder VTEC doesn't provide very much performance gain.

get the V6...an 00 V6 would do a 90 EX dirty any day of the week..modded or not. modding a 90 isn't worth it. go with the V6

While you're at it, search for the EX-V6. The leather, moonroof, and digital climate control make the driving experience much more comfortable.

Oh, sorry, didn't see V6 in the title. The VTEC works just dandy with those.

FYI, the 01 had some changes such as side air bags, traction control, redone wheels/front bumper, new gauges and a 6CD changer.

Yes, the 2000 Accord V6 has V-TEC. The only downside is that it's only available with an automatic trans, and that transmission has problems.

Please don't call it V-TEC like a used car salesman would.

My sister has an Accord with the V6. It has a manual tranny, and it feels really strong to me. I never realized it doesn't have the Vtec V6 though.
I guess I should've looked under the hood or something...

00's have the side airbags too, but I'm not sure about the TC though.
