Oh yeah, I am an e-thug. All I wanted to know was about your 6th gen. Go buy a TL already, who cares.

Here's the confusion fellas..."LocoLT1" does NOT have a 6th gen accord. It was "CG5TougeMaster" who thinks his 6th gen I4 auto is faster than a TSX.

Hondas/acuras that run sub 15 sec. - accord coupe 6spd v6, s2000, rsx type s, nsx, tl 6-speed.

Choose your car and stop bitching.

You are talking about increasing potential of the K series motor. The 6th gen AV6 is sluggish for a V6, and for a 7th gen I4 Accord or the K24 TSX for that matter can out perform that car anyday. These are just known facts.

i was talking about my 6th gen accord, but i didn't say it was stock...because it isn't. in it's present form, it will beat an automatic stock TSX. and even the 6 speed TSX isn't very fast. my brother's 05 lancer ralliart 5 speed would beat it.

IMO, go with the TL. For $4-5k more, you get much better styling, a more luxurious interior, more features, Acura service and 30 more hp to boot. It all boils down to what you prefer. The Accord is the same car, without the dazzle.

I would also consider the Infiniti G35 sedan... which is RWD.
