ok - thanks for all the help from everyone. I appreciate it!!!!! Im DONE. I hope I did it correct, I test drove and everything seems ok. I saw on the pic that there was shims on both pads, but when I took them off the was only pad shims on the outside pad not on the pad on the inside. Should I be concerned???

Well you should have bought Honda OEM replacement pads which would have included all new shims. Don't really worry about them, they're not that big of a deal.

Did you remember to line up the bumps in the pad with the slot in the piston?

it seemed like it would not fit right if they were not lined up, is that not correct?

The first time I ever did rear brake pads I guess I didn't line them up correctly and when I went to change them again the pad and metal thing completely seperated. As long as everything is tight though it really shouldn't be a big deal, it's just more of a 'just in case' thing. I wouldn't worry about it.

I am pretty sure I did it right, but thanks again for all your help. I really do appreciate it. I would not have been able to do the job if you had not helped.

Oh yea, any thoughts on why my SRS light might be on? how much to fix best/worse case?

My SRS light was on last year and the dealer turned it off for free (probably because they had just ass raped me for the $200 it took to diagnose my ABS light and replace the sensor that I had just replaced myself 4 months prior).
