-honda accord 2001 automatic
-transmission is slippery. when at d4 the car seems to roll back. kinda like manual.

basically my car was automatic now it's acting like it's a manual car.

i dont have a 6th gen, a 5th gen but it costed me roughly $800 to convert my auto to a manual after the auto tranny took a shit. i could have bought another low mileage jdm auto tranny for about $300 and installed it but then theres no telling when that auto tranny would die either. I could have done the manual conversion for about $600 if i bought all oem parts but i went with a racing clutch and pressure plate. so basically the prices on parts arent that bad its the labor which i did all myself.

your best bet would be to find a low mileage auto tranny and hope that it doesnt have issues and install it.

Well it took just two days to REPLACE the slush box in my 98 coupe. When I had it repaired it took about three days, if I remember correctly.

The 00 and 01 Accord V6 had their warranties extended to 100,000 miles on the powertrain. Cost of repair, $0 ... only if the D4 light is flashing. If the D4 is still solid green on the dash, then Honda won't even look at it.

In any case, it will take about 10 business days to fix a broken transmission. up to 5 days waiting on the part, up to another 5 days waiting for the transmission specialist to do the job.

Cost about $900 to install a used 33k old 2000 tranny, running great at 65k tranny miles.
