Brake Lamp Indicator Problem

Brake Lamp Indicator Problem
Searched and didn't find anything...
Here's the situation:
My tails light up fine when the car is on. (remote started)
When I press the brake pedal for the first time after starting, the dash board "Brake Lamp" indicator comes on and stays on until the car is turned off.
The passenger side brake lamp does not light up when the pedal is pushed.
Checked all 4 bulbs, both filaments on all four bulbs look good.
Switched bulbs from passenger side to drivers side...they light up fine.
Didn't see a fuse labeled in driver's or passenger's fuse box.
There clearly isn't any problem with the bulbs themselves, perhaps a fuse somewhere I haven't checked or a relay?! 98 accord i4 coupe.
Can anyone help!

How about a broken connection within the right-side taillamp housing? Or the wiring between the right & left sides?
I think the sensor for that warning is a little black box in the left taillamp housing. Look for loose or corroded connections there. Then follow wires from there over to the right side, looking for something loose or disconnected.
