Default sway bar... worth it?

I drive a 91 accord . the only sway bar (rear) i found available for this car is 13/16" in diameter, or about .8", the one on my car now is about .6".
my question is would buying the aftermarket one show much improvment over the stock, its not much thicker so i dont know, has anyone had this same situtation and saw a lot of improvment, or is it a waste of money.

thanks

well on my 6th gen I upgraded from my stock sway to the acura TL-S rear sway which is a few inches thicker and it did make a huge difference in handling. how much is the bar your looking at? my upgrade cost me just about $100 and it was worth the money.

The bar I'm looking at is about $120, I'd be willing to pay that if I knew that I will see improvement. You say your bar is a couple inches thicker, thats a lot, I didn't know they made them that thick, that's why you saw good results, mine would only be a little bit thicker.

yea, it aint a couple inches thicker, just a couple millimeters thicker. everyone ive heard says that it has made the most improvement out of all thesuspension mods.

You should definitely notice a difference with a thicker sway. It doesn't take much. Just don't spend a lot for name brands... They all work about the same.
