I couldn't tell you where it is off the top of my head, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to pick it out in the Haynes manual.

On a 1990 CRX, in the footwell of the drivers side, like where the interior fusebox is, a ways back, and up, against the wall (if you were sitting in the drivers seat, its the "wall" of the car on the left).

yea, it is way up there but first you have to remove the cruise control box/ it has 2-8mm bolts i believe. from there you should be able to see the main relay. it is then held on by one-two 8mm nuts, you might have to bend back one of the tabs from another box which shares one of the two screws for the main relay.
everything should take around 40 minutes.

Yes under the cruise control box. I don't even unbolt them. I pull on the inner sides of the box and slide the circuit board out. Total time 5 mins.

the main relay on some civics is at the fuse box level sits right above it. on early accords 90-93 like ours, when u lie on the driver's side floor board, braked pedal side, look straight up. start where the dash board edge begins for height and go up.. its up past the steering wheel level. wall side means quarter panel side not firewall. its not on the wall its straight up in the dash offset to the right..i dont have the car here right now, body shop has it, otherwise id run out and look at it for details. the cruise control box is big.. gray, says cruise control on it bolted to a bracket. the relay is under it.. lots of wire harnesses under the dash. the relay maybe black or brown in color, rectangle shaped.. not very big. shares a bolt with the cruise control on the same bracket.. did mine in 03 so i cant remember what was written on it to i d it.. with my 92 accord, i have an alarm and alot of my wiring, alarm mess, was in the way of this little relay. pretty easy to remove/replace. there isnt alot of room under the dash/floor board/seat to move around in..

yes, the alarm was such a pain in the ass...what made me kinda mad was once i replaced it...it didnt fix my problem

hi uclaccord i hope this helps some.. go to search engine Google.. type in 'honda main relay location' the 3rd choice down Graphics used on the auto repair.about.com site http://autorepair.about.com/cs/gener...g_asian008.htm.

hit it this will bring up The Index of Illustrations..p8 the Honda Main Relay Location for a 1990 accord. 2 columns appear.. the top right has a drawing of the location in the dash and the 2nd row left has an actual picture as if u are on the floor board looking up brake pedal side of the floor board as i described above.. and the part will look just like it with the part brand name and number...mine looked just like it.part will be black or brown depends on the manufacturer.. it should have a plug coming out of it also..go to p9 left column 1st drawing honda relays shows a diagram of the relay for shape.. i did mine in 03 and this site looks familiar i may have actually used it when i went looking for my relay. i hope it comes up..
