Default 6th gen aftermarket muffler & resonator

6th gen aftermarket muffler & resonator I'm most likely going to have a local shop fabricate a catback system for my '02 Accord I4 coupe since there doesn't seem to be a decent selection of modestly priced catback systems on the market for the '02 4 cyl. coupes. I was going for a Magnaflow system but they do not offer one for the 6th gen coupes - only sedans.

Any recommendations on an aftermarket s.s - not necessarily polished - muffler and resonator that I can supply to my exhaust fabricator? Don't want ones that are too loud or sound like angry bees. Also, don't want it to hang too low since the car is being lowered. More interested in a lower restriction flow and a deeper sound. Will be mated to a DC Sports header and (eventually) to a low-restriction cat.

Thanks.

DarkSide : You mentioned that the Greddy was way to loud on your cardomain link. . .Are you happy w/ the Apex'i system re: fitment, ground clearance, and noise level.

After installing a really neat sounding, but all too loud (homemade), system on a gen2 Teg a few years ago, the constant blaaaat when accelerating and the all too loud reverb at cruising speed was too much of a 'good thing'. Even a replacement HKS system wore thin on a cross country trip. . .

the Greddy was kinda too loud for me... it's not that loud, but it resonates like crazy in the car... i got used to it tho...

as for the Apex'i, it's pretty decent...a lil louder than stock at idle and sounds nice at WOT.. clearance is not very good, but i had a shop redo the hangers so that it sits higher.. also, the piping for the Apexi is not SS.... i kept the piping from my Greddy cos it's SS... so, i kinda have a hybrid system
