KLEANKORD.....

Your email didn't seem to work for some reason so here's the email i sent you:

Hey, whats up.....yea I'm willing to do it for 110 shipped (the intake itself and the cold air extension) and i'll also throw in the K&N filter thats on it.....the filter isn't in bad condition at all...its only been on for a few months now, if that...

The CAI itself is in good condition, obviously some wear and tear from the long time its been on for, but basically the sticker is kinda blemished in the middle (I'm sure you can probably get a new one from Injen if you really want) and its not as shiny as it used to be...just a duller aluminum finish, but there is nothing majorly wrong with it at all...

I myself do not have a digital camera.....I can try asking around to see if I know anyone with one to take pics and send them to you if you really want to see it.....just let me know....

Let me know if this all works for you as I am ready to ship it out to you ASAP if you give me the go...

Take it easy,

Simson

Default get teh bypass

i've had my bypass since i got my AEM intake and it was the best thing i ever got i've driven thru water many a time and sucked it being my car is dropped and the filter hangs real low. i've seen people having to pull ova cuz they sucked up so much water that their cars would make funny sounds. the bypass makes a weird sound when water is sucked up it. its well worth the money for any CAI especially the low hanging ones.......

KLEANKORD,

My email address is SIM300ZX@AOL.COM so if you want to email me, you can.....

I'm gonna try to find a digital camera within the next few days or so...sorry I haven't checked the post in a while...been busy the last day or so...

Anyways, email me so I can send you the pics once I get them...I've had the whole system running for a couple years now and it obviously is running perfectly...It fits perfect and comes with all the mounting hardware...

Oh, and it sounds really clean and mean...

You simply don't need a bypass valve on the CAI on Accord's. By the time the water is high enough to cause problems your car will already be floating away. Plus, the bypass valve will cancel out any additional gains of the CAI over the Short Ram, all while costing close to $100 more.

If you are seriously paranoid, just get the Short Ram, save a ton of money, and call it a day

First off... I live in the San Diego, and it's never wet here. Also, I just got an AEM CAI for my car, and it does a lot more for me than just make cool noises. Some people are like, "yeah, it makes a little bit of noise", but truth is, those mothers howl like wolves. I throw my car in 2nd, and if I'm pedal to the metal, it flares up like it was lit on fire. True, they do make noise, but I've also noticed significant gains in mid-rpm ranges, specifically passing power. Torque is improved, and accel is a little bit faster.

The moral of this story is to get AEM, because truthfully, from everything I've read, and now experienced, you're not going to get as much power out of any other intake on the market.

The bypass valve is like 40 dollars, so it won't break the bank if you live in a wet area, but the CAI is definitely worth it over the ram

So you're saying that you blow $1350/mo on dumb shia? Damn I wish I had your kind of money! LOL

There is so much splash guarding on Accord's that it is impossible to hydrolock unless you are in water up to your KNEES. Just water splash from roads and severe storms is going to be completetly blocked by the splash guarding. If you don't believe me, look underneath your car near the left-front wheel well.

Here's another thread for you to read.
