After changing the filter on my 2000, I was pleasantly surprised that the 7th gen was so much easier. All you do is open the glove box, pinch plastic tabs on either side and remove the glove box. Release the plastic filter cover, slide out the tray, remove the dirty filter, put in the new one, slide back in, snap on the cover, and pop the glove box back in.
Not a single screw to remove...!
that's how I've done for my bro 2003 accord lx...2005 accord lx(wife) and not much different on my 2007 se...all there is to it was pinch the plastic tabs on both side of the glove box to let it slide down then pinch the plastic tab back while have your left hand hold on to the glove box to prevent it from falling down. then have both of your hand pinch the two tabs that hold the filter to remove it...hope this help some out there(help save some $$$). btw, have ask two of my local dealer for how much they would charge to replace the in cabin filter...one of them is charging $132 for parts and labor and the other is $125....
