Someone busted my window.
Yep.....just like it says....looks like a big spider web now.
I fricken had my car parked in brooklyn and when i got back to my car like 8 hours later I find the window is shattered.
Thank god I have tinted windows. Stopped the glass from getting into my car.
Im getting the surveillance tape from the building next to where i park my car.
Im going to destroy who ever did this.
Now my night is all screwed up.
I got a quote of 110-130 for the glass.
If anyone knows of a place in queens where I can get it cheaper please let me know.
also is there a huge difference with the Glass that comes from Honda vs the generic ones the auto shops have?

well at least they didnt break in and snatch what was inside.. but it still sucks..it could have been worse...maybe some kids were ****ing around outside and smacked it? is it that much installed or just for the glass?? as for the difference between the 2 glasses you should try to go and look at a generic one and look at the one on your passenger side to see the difference...there might not even be a difference.... good luck tho

Dr. Frank - Your absolutely right. It does look pretty cool.
Especially when trying to merge to the left on the highways.
I cant see anything!!!..
I just got back from getting a replacement.
total cost 110 w/ installation.
The only thing different with the window is that this one seems alittle bit heavier.
If i lower both front windows simultaneously and then move them up.
The OEM side ( right side window ) closes quicker than the left side ( New window ).
well I was able to get the tapes from the camera that is on a building next to where I park my car.
It seems as if no one actually walked next to my car and broke it.
Im assuming someone might of drove by and spat up a rock which flew and hit my window.
When my car alarm went off there was no one around. Unless someone was across the street throwing rocks.
So it was either
a) someone threw something from across the street ( cant see them in the tape )
b) construction workers ( across the street )
c)???????
My sister told me I have glass coverage on my insurance so this might turn ou t pretty good.
Ill get reimbursed for it.

I'd blame it on a stray bullet from a drive-by!
A bullet would probably have went through really, or not if it was traveling a long way.
Did you find anything on the ground next to the car when you came upon it? That could be a clue.
That sucks though, $100 isn't that bad though, honestly, for a broken window.
I'm still living with a cracked windshield because during the VERY few ice storms we have here in GA, I used a friggin hammer on my windshield to break the ice off. 1. It leaves scratches on the glass. 2. It further extended a dime crack I had there before, now it almost coveres the windshield, but only on the passenger side(yes, I'm an idiot for that!)
So, I still gotta get that fixed someday, or wait till someone hits me and blame it on them, hah.

if there was a small hole in the window... someone probably threw a spark plug at ur window. not a whole spark plug, but they use pieces of the broken white part of the spark plug. ive seen this done a million times...
