Hey all,
I'm looking to get a system for my new honda accord coupe, but the stupid stereo and climate controls are integrated (dumbest idea ever)

I was just thinking of adding 4 new speakers, 1 12" sub and 2 amps, and a cap to power it all. The people at best buy and tweeter say the using the factory radio with all the aftermarket stereo equipment will sound crappy. any suggestions? any else do this yet? does it sound like crap?

 

yes, it usually does sound bad if you use a factory deck. you can't control the sound like you could with an aftermarket deck. they do make a dash kit for your car. its made by METRA and runs aronud $200. it replaces the whole panel and leaves a square opening for a radio. do a search on google, you probably could find it.
