automatics are not for racing....
repeat as necessary until your problem is fixed

you can do that i believe with a chipped ecu/ engine managment like hondata or whatever, but why? it's an automatic, it knows what is good for itself, "let is sit and put problem done"

I'd like to do the same but for Civic and my purpose of that is opposit. when I go 25 m/h RPM stays at 2000. It seems to my to high and it doesn't shift on 3 gear unless I accelerate it up to 30 m/h. So i want to move a shift point from 2 to 3 a litle bid down.

If thats how you car came stock. Than why would you want to change? Don you trust these Honda Engineers?
Do you think by changing shift points that will not cause another problem?
If you want to change shift points I'd get a manual transmission.

it stays in third gear. I guess it doesn't hurt anything if it doesn't shift back to second between 20 and 30 m/h. Plus I'm not sure if it was always like that.
About three years ago tranny was power flushed. I have a feeling that it does this after that flush.
Switch to manual is a strong point and I like this idea. It means to sell this car and buy another one. I don't want to sell it because I put much effort to keep this car reliable. If I buy another car it either more money to put at a purchase or later for repairs.

Well the cost to install a tranny onto a manual car wouldnt be that much compared to buying another car thats 5spd.
I would assume a manual tranny will cost around 800
parts and ECU say another 300, and labor is where its going to get you.
So I would assume no more than 1500-2000 for the swap....( Just a guess )

Honda Auto trannys are a joke
they break down with abuse, its a known fact so just gotta accept the truth
same advice, if u want to alter when the gears shift, get a MT and shift it ur self
problem solved
