Please dont be shifting it like a manual as well, those trannies have enough problems as it is without being driven improperly. Im not really sure of the purpose of your mod, you drive an automatic, so what, theres no need to pretend you have a manual. Or sell that car and buy a 5spd!

holding the pin down yields 20whp, and if your going 60mph on the freeway bump the shifter on accident into reverse for the turbo to kick in.

you can trick the avg. joe but you aint tricking no one that knows remotely anything to accords.

Reverse won't damage Accords, at least 6thG +. Reverse above 20MPH causes the ECU to shift to neutral. Rev to 6.5K in "reverse" several times heh

Sadly enough, it will probably do less damage than you think. The ECU closely controls the shifting. The transimission selector is pretty much "Drive-by-wire" meaning that the ECU actaully controls the shift, rather than a direct linkage as in older trannys. Mostly, I'd expect you'd just wear out the torque converter from high heat after repeated downshifts. You may want to add an aftermarket tranny cooler if you want descent tranny life.

The most abusive thing you can do to your tranny... as was always the case is to force a double or triple downshift.... such as rolling along at 20mph and stomping on the gas...causing the tranny to drop to 1st gear.

On behalf of the HAN community, I’d like to extend my condolences and apologies on how terrible it is that the car your daddy bought for you is an automatic. I don’t know how you go on living with such a horrible and traumatizing experience. My suggestion to you in your quest to trick people into thinking that you have a manual is to put your shifter in neutral at a stop light, rev it to its maximum neutral speed (4500 RPM) and then put it into D4 when the light turns green. Not only will your car launch much faster, people will think that you’re dropping the clutch just like a race car driver! Girls from miles around will flock to your car now that they think you have a manual transmission.

LMFAO...

It's an automatic, deal with it unless you have the bank to do a real conversion... I mean... unless daddy has the money to do a real conversion. Just get all the basic mods and forget about it. There's plenty of auto's out there, I have one myself.
