There are already threads like this...basically people say that whatever gen they own is the best.

94-97 is the easiest to find parts for, I think.

just go get a Acura TL and then you wont have to mod an accord, its already better than any accord, and the TL already has I think 270 hp, HID lights, perfect body style, nice rims (though they can be upgrade to look even better), sorry for rambling, what ever gen look good to you is all that matters.

i have a 5th gen and like it 2nd best. my absolute favorite is the 98-00 (early 6th gen) V6 coupe...without the transmission problems, of course. my sister is lucky enough to have one that we outfitted with a full OEM kit for a whopping $570 and our own labor.

if you must have an accord...get what japan and europe currently call the accord.

My favorites would have to be the 76-81 (1st gen) and the 4th gens (90-93) I own an 81 Civic wagon and 96 Accord. I never cared too much for the 5th gens, but mine was a very low mileage (40k miles) and exceptionally clean car...and I got a pretty good deal. Most of the 4th gens I looked at had well over 100k-150k miles. Now, almost three years later, mine just turned 150,000. I never could fiogure out how people could put so many miles on Accords, now I know.
