What I mean by slipping is when releasing the clutch it doesn't grab causing it to slip. Do you smell the clutch when you take off ?

You can hear if the clutch slips. Your engine will rev higher but it has nothing to do with slow take off.

if you cant chirp second, most likely its on its way out. also a good way to see how good it is engaging is put your e-brake on, and let the clutch out while in first and see how good it grabs...
